GRIEF AND LOSS

YOU DON’T HAVE TO CARRY THIS ALONE

Grief is one of the deepest expressions of love. It doesn't follow a schedule, it doesn't look the same for everyone, and there is no "right" way to grieve.

Wherever you are in your journey, I want you to know this:

You are not broken. You are grieving.

Gentle Ways to Care for Yourself

You don't have to do everything today.

  • Start with one small step.

    • Give yourself permission to feel.

    • Drink water and nourish your body.

    • Rest without guilt.

    • Journal your thoughts.

    • Talk to someone you trust.

    • Spend time outdoors.

    • Keep simple routines.

    • Pray or meditate if it aligns with your beliefs.

    • Ask for help when you need it.

Healing happens one day at a time.

Remember…

Some days will

feel impossible.

Grief doesn't mean you're moving backward.

Some days will feel lighter.

Both can be true.

Give yourself grace.

THE TAKEAWAY

A PRAYER FOR THE GRIEVING

  • Heavenly Father,

    Heavenly Father,

You are close to the brokenhearted and near to those whose spirits are crushed.

When the weight of grief feels too heavy to carry, remind us that we were never meant to carry it alone.

Comfort every hurting heart with Your presence.

Bring peace where there is anxiety, hope where there is despair, and strength for each new day.

Help us remember that love never truly disappears—it changes form, but it remains.

Wrap us in Your unfailing love, restore our hope, and remind us that even in seasons of sorrow, You are still faithful.

    In Jesus' name,
    Amen.

If You Need Additional Support

Healing isn't meant to happen in isolation.

If you're struggling with grief, anxiety, depression, or adjusting to life after loss, professional counseling can provide a safe place to process your emotions and begin healing.
